Paeonia lactiflora extract powder , also known as white peony Extract, is an active ingredient extracted from the dried roots of Paeonia lactiflora, a plant of the Ranunculaceae family. Its main active ingredient is Paeoniflorin, and it also contains components such as hydroxypaeoniflorin, paeoniflorin, and paeoniolactone. Paeoniflorin, the signature component of Paeonia lactiflora extract, is a monoterpene glycoside compound with the molecular formula C₂₃H₂₈O₁₁.
